Econet Wireless Zimbabwe to Delist from Zimbabwe Stock Exchange Effective March 31, 2026

The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) has announced that Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Limited (Econet) will be voluntarily delisting from the exchange, effective March 31, 2026. This decision was made following a shareholder resolution passed on February 26, 2026, in accordance with Section 11 of the ZSE Listing Requirements.

The ZSE had sought and obtained permission from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZ) to delist Econet, as required by Section 64 (1) (a)(i) of the Securities and Exchange Act [Cap24.25].

As a result of the delisting, holders of Econet securities will no longer be able to trade on the ZSE with effect from April 1, 2026, as advised in terms of Section 15 (d) of the ZSE Listing Requirements.

The ZSE has notified the investing public of the delisting, and shareholders have been advised to make necessary arrangements regarding their securities.
