The Zimbabwe Senior Men’s national football team, the Warriors, has been named by Head Coach Marian Marinica for the upcoming Four Nations Tournament in Botswana. The tournament is scheduled to take place at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium on March 28 and 31, 2026.
The Warriors will face off against hosts Botswana, as well as Malawi and Zambia, in the invitational tournament, which aims to provide competition and maintain team cohesion ahead of future assignments.
Coach Marinica has selected a 23-man squad, featuring a mix of local and international players. The team boasts experienced goalkeepers, a solid defensive line, creative midfielders, and a potent attack.
The squad includes:
- Goalkeepers: Elvis Chipezeze (Magesi FC), Future Sibanda (ZPC Kariba), and Marley Tavaziva (Brentford)
- Defenders: Andrew Mbeba (Highlanders), Emmanuel Jalai (Durban City), Corbin Mthunzi (Ipswich Town), Munashe Garananga (Hibernian), Gerald Takwara (Al-Minaa), Isheanesu Mauchi (Chippa United), Teenage Hadebe (FC Cincinnati), and Shane Maroodza (Sarajevo)
- Midfielders: Marvelous Nakamba (Sheffield Wednesday), Jonah Fabisch (FC Erzgebirge Aue), Panashe Makwiramiti (Haverford West), Prosper Padera (SJK Seinajoki), Bill Antonio (KV Mechelen), and Sean Fusire (Sheffield Wednesday)
