Ruwa – Preparations for the 21st National Youth Day celebrations are gathering momentum in Border Gezi District, with party structures intensifying mobilisation efforts ahead of the Presidential commemorations.

Retired Colonel Marisa, a senior figure within the district structures, emphasized discipline, loyalty, and patriotism as guiding principles for youth mobilisation. Addressing party members, he underscored the importance of unity and active participation in national programmes aligned with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s development agenda.
Border Gezi Political Commissariat Cde Chimwara reiterated the President’s “leaving no one behind” doctrine, calling for inclusive mobilisation that cuts across youth, women, and affiliate structures. The approach reflects the party’s strategy of broad-based engagement in national commemorations, particularly those centred on youth empowerment and economic development.
Women’s Quota representative Cde Mudzingwa is expected to grace tomorrow’s preparatory event at Rehab in Ruwa, ahead of the 21st RG Festival, further demonstrating the integration of different party wings in the build-up to the national Youth Day programme.
Observers note that Youth Day commemorations continue to serve as both a platform for celebrating young people’s contribution to national development and a strategic mobilisation tool reinforcing party structures at district level.
