ZIMRA Warns Taxpayers of Impersonation Scam

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) has issued a public notice 4 of 2026 warning taxpayers of fraudsters impersonating its employees. The fake officials are posing as ZIMRA representatives, putting taxpayers at risk of financial loss.

ZIMRA emphasizes that its officials carry verifiable identification and conduct all interactions lawfully and with proper documentation. The authority advised taxpayers to be cautious and report any suspicious individuals claiming to be ZIMRA officials.
