
Presidential Adviser Dr. Paul Tungwarara has launched the US$100,000 Presidential Empowerment Fund in Chipinge District, Manicaland province. The fund aims to support grassroots development and inclusive empowerment in the province.
During the launch, Dr. Tungwarara emphasized the importance of unity and peace in advancing the development agenda of President Emmerson Mnangagwa. He urged the people of Manicaland to remain resolute in their efforts to uplift their communities and contribute to national development.
The empowerment fund will support various initiatives, including agricultural productivity, access to clean water, and sanitation. The President has also provided 1,000 bicycles, US$50 for each village chairperson, and over 1,600 10kg bags of maize seed to support community development.
Additionally, the Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme will be rolled out across the district to ensure access to clean water and support irrigation efforts. Dr. Tungwarara expressed gratitude to the people of Manicaland for their support and commitment to the development agenda of President Mnangagwa.
