Zimbabwe has launched the Telone Omni Contact Centre, marking a major step towards digital transformation. The centre uses AI and integrated platforms for faster, smarter, and citizen-centred service delivery.
Minister Tatenda Mavetera said the centre is a pivotal milestone in Zimbabwe’s technological modernisation and digital economy vision. “It is with profound honour and immense pride that I stand before you today to celebrate a remarkable event—the official commissioning of the landmark TelOne Omni Contact Centre,” she said.
The centre integrates channels like chatbots and social media for seamless communication between citizens and government. This aligns with NDS2 goals, positioning Zimbabwe as a competitive BPO hub and creating youth jobs. The launch demonstrates the government’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve livelihoods and public service.
