Zimbabwean Football Awards: Navaya Reigns Supreme

TelOne FC forward Washington Navaya was crowned Soccer Star of the Year at the prestigious Zimbabwean football awards, held last night. Navaya’s outstanding performance, which included winning the Golden Boot with 17 goals in the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) season, earned him the top honour.

Navaya’s impressive season was marked by his exceptional skill and goal-scoring ability, leading TelOne FC to a respectable finish in the league. He was followed closely by Kevin Moyo and Emmanuel Ziocha, who finished first and second runner-up, respectively.

In other award categories, former Scotland FC Coach Tonderayi Ndiraya was named Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season, after guiding Scotland FC to their maiden title in their debut season. Last season, he won the championship with Simba Bhora.
