
In a significant boost to the party’s mobilisation efforts, President ED Mnangagwa handed over 21 brand-new vehicles and substantial funds to the ZANU PF Women’s League and Young Women 4ED at State House in Harare today.

The ceremony was graced by Senate President Hon Mabel Chinomona and YoungWomen4ED National Chair Hon Minister Dr Tatenda A Mavetera, who expressed their gratitude for the generous donation.
The donations included six Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series VXR vehicles for top leadership and 10 Toyota Hilux GD6 Double Cab vehicles for grassroots mobilisation. Additionally, the Women’s League received US$500,000 for party development and empowerment initiatives, while Young Women 4ED received 5 Toyota Hilux GD6 Double Cabs and US$100,000 to support their activities.
“This donation is a game-changer for our affiliates,” said President Mnangagwa. “It will enhance their mobility and ability to mobilize communities and carry out duties more effectively.” he added.
The generous donation was made possible by businessman Wicknell Chivayo, who was applauded for his patriotism and commitment to national development. President Mnangagwa encouraged other young businesspeople to emulate Chivayo’s efforts, citing the national philosophy that “Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo” (The country is built by its people).
The event marked a significant milestone in the empowerment of ZANU PF affiliates, poised to drive the party’s growth and development across the country.
