NDS2 launched, ambitious objectives to drive economic growth set

The National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2) has been launched, outlining key objectives to drive Zimbabwe’s growth and development. The strategy builds on the successes of NDS1, focusing on transformative initiatives to propel the country forward.

NDS2 Objectives:

  1. Economic Stability: Maintain stability and a robust financial sector
  2. Economic Transformation: Drive value addition and diversification
  3. Infrastructure Development: Build modern, resilient infrastructure
  4. Agricultural Growth: Enhance food security and climate resilience
  5. Digital Economy: Foster innovation and knowledge-driven growth
  6. Devolution: Promote equitable regional development
  7. Job Creation: Accelerate opportunities for youth and entrepreneurs
  8. Social Development: Ensure access to quality health and education
  9. Global Engagement: Attract investment and tourism
  10. Institutional Strengthening: Foster unity, peace, and security

President ED Mnangagwa emphasizes the need for collective effort to achieve these objectives, urging citizens to work towards a prosperous Zimbabwe.
