The Today’s Woman International Interdenominational Conference opened in Harare this week with a vibrant atmosphere of worship, teaching, and empowerment, drawing hundreds of women into an experience that blends faith with practical transformation.
From the celebratory pre-conference gathering to the official launch at Glamis Arena, the event has created a space where worship and learning go hand in hand. The three-day program features sessions that speak directly to women’s realities, faith, leadership, family, and social responsibility, while uniting participants under the theme of serving God with reverence in their generation.
Internationally acclaimed gospel minister Sinach ministered in worship, emphasizing that her role was not to entertain but to impart spiritually. The atmosphere underscored that this is not merely an event but a movement designed to equip women to rise with confidence and strength.
The vision of Archbishop Prof. Eunor Guti remains at the heart of the conference: to bring together women from diverse backgrounds and denominations, creating a platform for sharpening, encouragement, and empowerment rooted in God’s Word.
As the sessions unfold, daytime programs will cater specifically to women, while the anticipated all-night praise will open to women, men, and children alike. The event’s enduring impact lies in its ability to inspire action, deepen spiritual commitment, and remind women of their central role in shaping communities and nations.
