Musona Signs for Castle Lager PSL Newcomers Scottland FC

Former Zimbabwe national football team captain, Knowledge Musona, has signed for Castle Lager Premier Soccer League newcomers, Scottland Football Club.

Musona, 34, was officially unveiled at Rufaro Stadium on Monday afternoon ahead of Scottland’s league match against Yadah. He joins the Mabvuku-based side on a short-term deal for the remainder of the season after parting ways with Saudi Arabian club, Al Okhdood.

Nicknamed “The Smiling Assassin,” Musona’s signing is viewed as a major boost for Scottland FC, who are in their debut top-flight campaign. The club has also added Warriors forward Terrence Dzvukamanja from SuperSport United, Namibian defender Moses Shidolo, and Malawian striker Khuda Muyaba during the ongoing mid-season transfer window.

Musona brings a wealth of experience to the team, having played professionally in South Africa, Belgium, and the Middle East. He is expected to play a key role in Scottland’s bid to remain competitive in the Premier Soccer League.
