NSSA waives P4 late submission penalty

The National Social Security Authority (NSSA) says it has waived penalties for the late submission of P4 returns.

The welcome development is aimed at encouraging compliance and support business recovery and sustainability. Beneficiaries of the blanket waiver are corporates with outstanding P4 submission penalties from January to November 2024.

To be eligible, the companies are expected to submit a formal application letter, upload the outstanding P4 returns to current and settling all outstanding contributions as well as updating employee records. Employers have been called upon to embrace this initiative. NSSA is committed to enhancing social security.
