ZANU PF has praised Zimbabweans for disregarding the planned March 31 protests, highlighting the nation’s commitment to peace and stability.
Speaking to journalists in Harare on Tuesday, ZANU PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa, applauded citizens for their vigilance and trust in President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s leadership.
“Our people have fought a war and understand the dangers of chaos. They carefully assessed the situation and refused to be misled,” said Mutsvangwa.
He also commended the security forces for maintaining order, emphasizing their role in safeguarding national interests. According to Mutsvangwa, recent changes in state security leadership ensured the country’s stability, reinforcing loyalty to the President and upholding professional standards.
The rejection of the demonstrations, he added, signals the failure of external attempts to destabilize Zimbabwe.
