The government has announced that the 2025 first-term school calendar will officially begin on Tuesday, January 14, and end on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

This clarification follows misleading claims circulating on social media suggesting that schools would open on January 6, 2025.

In a statement issued on December 31, 2024, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education dismissed these rumors, urging the public to disregard the false information.

The Ministry emphasized that the school calendar remains unchanged.

According to the calendar, the second term will commence on Tuesday, May 13, and conclude on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

The third term is set to run from Tuesday, September 9, to Thursday, December 1, 2025.
