The revolutionary and ruling party, ZANU PF is set to hold a highly anticipated Annual People’s Conference in Bulawayo this October under the theme, “Industrialise and Modernise Towards the Attainment of Vision 2030.”
With over 4,300 delegates expected from the party’s 10 provinces and diaspora chapters, the event marks a significant moment in shaping the future of Zimbabwe’s development agenda.
The theme underscores the party’s commitment to driving national growth through science, research, technology, and innovation.
The government has already laid the groundwork for these advancements through initiatives like Education 5.0, the establishment of innovation hubs, and industrial parks at tertiary institutions, aligning with its broader vision of a modern and industrialized Zimbabwe by 2030.
The conference provides a crucial platform for ZANU PF to discuss key national issues, solidify its strategies, and reinforce its dedication to the country’s progress.
Among its key objectives are mobilizing and recruiting new members, particularly the youth, and continuing the Party’s
cell-building efforts to strengthen its grassroots presence. Despite opposition attempts to create divisions, the party remains unified in its purpose.
This year’s conference will be a showcase of camaraderie, reinforcing the party’s collective mission and commitment to national development, silencing detractors with a display of strong unity and forward momentum.
