Palestine Ambassador Salutes President ED On His Speech On The 79th UN General Assembly.

The ambassador of the state of Palestine Dr Tamer Almassri expresses his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the people of Palestine for President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa’s unwavering support during his recent speech at the 79TH United Nations General Assembly.

President’s speech was delivered on his behalf by Foreign Affairs Minister Honourable Fredrick Shava. “His commitment to standing in solidarity with Palestine in our pursuit of justice, recognition, ending of Israeli occupation and genocide is deeply appreciated” said Ambassador Dr Tarmer Almassri.

President Mnangagwa’s remarks highlighted the importance of international solidarity in addressing the longstanding issues faced by Palestinians. His emphasis on human rights and self-determination resonates profoundly with aspirations for peace and dignity.

“The President’s speech not only brought attention to the Palestinian plight but also reinforced the necessity for collective action among nations to uphold justice, equality and end the last occupation of the 21st century by Israel. By voicing support for Palestine, he has contributed significantly to raising global awareness about our situation, which is crucial in fostering a more just world order” added Palestine Ambassador.

“We are hopeful that this solidarity will inspire other nations to follow suit and advocate for Palestinian rights within international forums. The courage demonstrated by President Mnangagwa serves as a beacon of hope especially at a time Israel is expanding its genocide to Westbank and Lebanon creating a regional war” concluded Ambassador Dr Tarmer

Frederick Makamure Shava: “The time for mere rhetoric is long past. The international go community cannot continue to turn a blind eye or be numb to the systematic injustices and suffering of the Palestinian people. We call upon the Security Council to fulfill its mandate by implementing robust measures that ensure the protection of civilians, the upholding of international law, the facilitation of a just and lasting peace.”
