Selmor Mtukudzi to serenade revellers at Tuku memorial festival

Musician Selmor Mtukudzi, daughter of the late national hero Dr. Oliver Mtukudzi, is set to perform at the Oliver Mtukudzi International Festival of the Arts, taking place at Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton from September 21 to 22, 2024.

Initially left out of the lineup, Selmor was added to the program by the festival organizers, Tuku Music Pvt Ltd, following protests from fans over her exclusion.

As the heir to the Tuku music legacy, Selmor has had a strained relationship with the late icon’s widow, Daisy Mtukudzi, who leads Tuku Music.

In a post on X, Selmor expressed her gratitude to her supporters:
