The Low Energy Unique machine is now fully operational, reducing the waiting time for radiation therapy. This progress counters false claims suggesting that the government was neglecting cancer treatment needs.
Additionally, solar power systems are being installed at 19 health facilities, with 97 percent of the project completed. This initiative will provide a reliable energy source, particularly in rural areas, ensuring uninterrupted medical services.
The installation of a modern containerized laboratory at Sally Mugabe Hospital is also complete. This new facility will allow for on-site testing, leading to quicker diagnoses and better patient outcomes.
Lastly, a water storage tank is being constructed at Chitungwiza Hospital to ensure a consistent water supply for patient care and hygiene.
