Geo Pomona Donates Computers to the SADC Secretariat

… As Zim Readies to Host the 44th Summit

Preparations for the 44th SADC Heads of State Summit are at an advanced stage, with anti-Government proponents left with egg on their faces following their smear campaign against the Government of Zimbabwe as the summit host and President Mnangagwa’s assumption of the SADC Chairmanship. On Thursday, Geo Pomona Waste Management donated computers worth USD 20,000 to the SADC Secretariat.

Geo Pomona Waste Management (Pvt) Ltd donated the computers to the SADC Secretariat ahead of the 44th Heads of State summit in Harare this August. The donation, handed to the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Albert Chimbindi, is expected to boost the Secretariat’s work during the summit. Ambassador Chimbindi thanked Geo Pomona for the gesture and urged the Secretariat to handle the computers with care, emphasizing their responsibility to put the equipment to good use and produce results.

Environmental issues are key in the international discourse, and Geo Pomona has been included in the SADC program. Heads of State are scheduled to visit the site, which aligns well with showcasing Zimbabwe’s strides in maintaining a clean and friendly environment. The work done by Geo Pomona benefits both the people and the environment, particularly in the face of new environmental changes.
