President Mnangagwa mourns Namibian President

President Hage Geingob

President Mnangagwa has mourned Namibian President HE Hage Geingob who passed on today after battling cancer.

President Hage Geingob died aged 82 less than a month after it was reported that he would undergo treatment for cancer.

President Geingob died at Lady Pohamba Hospital in the capital Windhoek with his wife and his children at his side.

President Mnangagwa expressed his condolences to the family and the people of Namibia for the loss of a committed leader.

“My heartfelt condolences to the family of President Hage Geingob and the people of Namibia.

President Geingob’s leadership and resilience will be remembered. May his soul rest in peace.

Our thoughts are with Namibia during this difficult time”, President Mnangagwa said on X.
