Freedom for Sikhala,Sithole

Former Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) Legislators, Job Sikhala and Godfrey Sithole are free after Harare Magistrate handed them wholly suspended 2-year jail sentences.

The duo were convicted for incitement to commit public violence last week and the sentence was delivered today.

Sikhala’s lawyer, Harrison Nkomo had this to say following the pronouncement of the sentence,

“He is now a free man. This is the only case that has been keeping him in custody”.

The suspended prison sentence means Job Sikhala is now a free man.

Sikhala was released last nigh.
