Nyaminyami Rural District Council is”open for business”

The RDC has unveiled the richness of its districts and various investment opportunities that lie within its jurisdiction.

The RDC is open for business and is calling for investors to come and invest in various flagship projects in the area.

Talking to Positive Eye News the RDC said, “The are a lot of opportunities in tourism development”.  The RDC is located in Kariba District, in Mashonaland West Province, in Zimbabwe. Nyaminyami is home to the Kariba Dam which they share with Kariba Municipality.  And for this reason talking to our reporter the RDC said, “The are a lot of opportunities in tourism development. There is a lot of space for those who wants to invest in in the industry of tourism for there is a need of developing hotels, lodges, conference centres and house lodges. They discovered dinosaur’s foot sprints which has become a center of attraction and investors are being called for such an opportunity. the district is privileged with a lot of both natural and artificial attraction

The RDC is also open for housing and infrastructure development There is a lot of opportunities in aquaculture for those who wants to do fishery and crocodile farming as well as crop. There is also irrigation investment door which is widely open.  Talking to our reporter they also spoke of mining.  

The RC has been encouraging valuation and production.  Instead of extracting raw materials they spoke of processing there by creating investment in industrialization and production.

As the nation is aiming for clean energy The RDC is providing space for those interested in solar energy. Large tracts of land have been set aside for the project in the district.

The RDC is open to investors in line with the nation’s clarion call, “Zimbabwe is open for business”.
