Bindura RDC unveils its hidden treasure at Harare Show Grounds

Bindura RDC is located on the north-eastern part of Zimbabwe in Mashonaland Central province with culturally rich and friendly people.

It is an hour’s drive from Harare along Mt Darwin Road and it shares boundaries with Chaminuka and Mazowe Rural District Councils and within its territory is Bindura Municipality. It has twenty one wards, nine of which are communal and the rest are commercial wards.

Under its jurisdiction are 5 schools, 12 health facilities, 1 district service centers, 3 Rural Service Centers, 9 active business Centers a rood network of 709.88km and 248 boreholes. these constitute the core faculties that need routine maintenance and servicing. with the increased accessibility of the RDC there is now easy gateway to investors for it is 24/7 widely open for investors.

BRDC has its natural uniqueness that it carries and therefore it has a very big opportunity in tourism and hospitality related investors. As a council BRDC is providing the space for infrastructure development, construction of lodges, hotels, conferences centers home lodge and resort areas. Talking to Positive Eye the RDC said ” investors should put to consideration consider the great Paradise Pools, an an attraction that cannot be ignored”

BRDC is also open for mining investors, mentioning the Bindura Nickel Corporation (Trojan) and Freda Rebecca God Mine (Ashanti)

Aiming to be a self-sustainable rural district council there are also promoting agro-processing aquaculture farm contracting and community share ownership schemes.
